The Opportunity:

 

Salesbuzz’ter is looking for a bright, focused and goal-oriented candidate with Business Development and Sales experience who will help the company and its clientele to create and expand business within the UK. The primary focus will be on European market. As a member of Salesbuzz’ter Business Development Team, the candidate will report to the MD. With the background of engineering and B2B Sales experience, the candidate must be resourceful and able to develop a well-defined time management process in order to progress the vision of assigned companies. The position may require travelling around Europe.

 

Pre-requisites:

 

Below are the pre-requisites for the successful recruitment of the candidate:

 

Must-have:

 

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, business management or similar discipline. Masters/MBA will be an added advantage

  • Work experience of 2+ years in Sales/Business Development. B2B sales experience in manufacturing industry is a plus

  • Fluent English Speaking skills

  • B2B sales experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Documentation skills like presentations, gantt charts, weekly/monthly/quarterly reports etc.

 

Nice-to-have:

 

  • German or Nordic speaking skills

  • Experience in using a CRM tool e.g; Salesforce

  • Understanding of equipment manufacturing

  • Experience in marketing and brand awareness

  • Sales experience within the process manufacturing and/or automation industry

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Interpersonal abilities

 

Responsibilities:

 

The candidate must be an energetic self-initiator who can quickly grasp a start-up company’s vision and way of working, can create specific plans and implement them upon appropriate approvals.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

  • Analyse and identify market needs and demands

  • Drive increase in deal signing margins through consultative selling, single source deals and a coordinated sales strategy

  • Development and implement sales strategy

  • Contact potential clients with cold calls/emails and create brand awareness

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

  • Validate potential clients at networking events and fairs

  • Conduct market research and analyse company’s competitors ( and their offers) so as to look for prospective clients

  • Qualify potential clients
