Why? Because when a hot prospect is ready to decide, a carefully crafted case study will make them say the magic words all of your marketing should be aiming at:
“This is exactly who we need.”
A good case study speaks directly to your ideal prospect about his or her problem – in their language -- and shows how you have solved it for a client just like them. Therefore, you can clearly do the same for the prospect.
My case studies (together with my testimonials -- more is always better for these!) have closed the deal for me numerous times. Whenever I have a prospect who is on the fence, seriously considering hiring me as a mentor or coach and trying to decide whether to invest the time and money (and I realize it’s a major decision for most of my prospects) I don’t try to convince them they should – I can’t.
